The drama hurricane of Vanderpump Rules cannot be slowed down, and the eagerly anticipated season 11 is about to begin filming. Fans around the world are still reeling from the “Scandoval” situation that emerged during season 10 when we learned that Tom Sandoval went behind his girlfriend Ariana Madix’s back to cheat with his co-star Raquel Leviss.
After that nuclear bomb, it’s perhaps understandable that the show’s cast is suffering heebie-jeebies over what else might be revealed in future episodes. Speaking during an Amazon Live session Lala Kent, now the founder of Give Them Lala Beauty, admitted to feeling anxiety about the cameras being switched on:
“We start filming on Wednesday and it’s like giving me anxiety. “They sent us like what our schedule may look like — it’s subject to change. And I’m just like, ‘Oh, we’re like really in it again. We usually have so much time to just kind of process… things change a lot. But it’s like, nope.”
This echoes Tom Schwartz’s confession to US Weekly that “I’m always slightly terrified when we start a new season” but that:
“We’ve always been a volatile group of friends. I don’t think I’ve ever had an argument outside of this group, to be honest. We have a lot of history together and there’s been trials and tribulations, but it comes from a place of love.”
The Scandoval situation rocketed Vanderpump Rules to its highest ratings yet, and though the story broke after production has already wrapped Bravo was right there with cameras to catch the shocked reactions of cast members.
It’s currently unknown whether Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss are returning to face the gauntlet once more, though we suspect that they’re such a ratings smash Bravo will simply park a dump truck of money in front of their house to tempt the pair back. Here’s hoping we get some firm news on exactly when the show will be returning to our screens, as we’re jonesing for our Vanderpump fix and we can’t wait much longer.
