So far, Adrian Chase has been making his presence felt in Arrow as Star City’s new District Attorney. However, fans of the comic books will know that he ultimately takes on the persona of Vigilante, and the same now looks set to be the case in the upcoming seventh episode.

Oliver Queen has already assembled a new team of heroes, but adding another oone to the mix promises to be very interesting, especially as it’s tough to imagine Chase being willing to do what he’s told by the Green Arrow (and the guy who is already technically his boss as major of Star City). It also sounds like his killer methods will split opinions when Oliver and the recruits track him down.

For more on what to expect from this episode of Arrow – which is rather appropriately titled “Vigilante” – here’s the synopsis:

DOLPH LUNDGREN “ROCKY” GUEST STARS – When the bodies of two criminals are dropped at SCPD, Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes there is a new Vigilante in Star City. The team is split about whether they should stop someone who is helping keep the city safe. Diggle (David Ramsey) is frustrated with his new situation and Thea (Willa Holland) fights for Lance (Paul Blackthorne) who confesses a shocking secret. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver finally sits down with Konstantin Kovar (guest star Dolph Lundgren).

As great as it will be to see Vigilante in action here, Dolph Lundgren appearing as Kovar should be great fun as well and will no doubt help spice up those flashbacks as Oliver’s quest for vengeance continues. Admittedly, they have been much better this year, but it’s still fair to say that Arrow needs to distance itself from them, which it will apparently do after season 5.
