The Walking Dead Covers EW; Plus Watch The First 4 Minutes Of The Midseason Premiere

AMC has released the first four minutes of Sunday's midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, and things don't look so good for the trio of main characters that we left at the mercy of Negan's men in the closing moments of the finale - particularly Abraham, who is singled out for execution by the leader of these bikers. AMC has released the first four minutes of Sunday’s midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, and things don’t look so good for the trio of main characters that we left at the mercy of Negan’s men in the closing moments of the finale – particularly Abraham, who is singled out for execution by the leader of these bikers. Surely something will stop him from pulling those triggers… right?

In addition, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled their latest collector’s covers featuring six of the major players left alive on the show: Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Glenn, Michonne and Carol.

In the issue, the cast recall feeling “sick” after reading the script for the season 6 finale, and even taking some time to recover from the stress of shooting the scene in question. Comic fans will know why that is, and while we won’t spoil it outright here, let’s just say it has something to do with the introduction of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his lethal friend Lucille.

Any ideas what could have left the cast in such a tizzy? Be sure to tune in to AMC this Sunday for the return of The Walking Dead to see if we get any more hints. And if you haven’t done so already, check out our review to see what we thought of the episode.
