San Diego Comic-Con may play host to major movie announcements, sure, but let’s not forget how we’re going to be treated to a ton of TV news and subsequent trailers in a matter of weeks. In other words, it’s Christmas in July for fans of Arrow, its sisters shows, and the cult favorite Supernatural.

Speaking of which, odds are you’ve heard about how both of those long-running series just mentioned will come to an end next season. In the case of Arrow, it’ll be wrapping it up with its eighth run, whereas Supernatural will be checking out after its fifteenth. Though the latter hung in there for nearly twice as long, both durations are incredibly impressive.

That said, Warner Bros. are making sure this year’s SDCC presentations are done right, as they’ll be celebrating these outgoing shows that have captivated the imaginations of viewers far and wide. Arrow will do its thing in Ballroom 20 on Saturday, with Supernatural once again occupying Hall H on Sunday.

At present time, specifics regarding the festivities remain unknown, though it’s probably safe to assume the principal casts from each respective series will be in attendance for Q&A sessions, with the producers hinting at what’s to come. But since a dig deal is being made already, retrospective video packages could be along for the ride, too.

In case you’re wondering, other CW shows like Black Lightning, The Flash, Legacies, Riverdale, Supergirl  and Batwoman will also be represented. And if we’re to go beyond that network, it’s worth mentioning how other DC series such as DC Super Hero Girls, Teen Titans GO!, Young Justice: Outsiders, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn, Pennyworth and Titans will be there in full effect, too.

Supernatural returns with new episodes on Thursday, October 10th on The CW, with Arrow bringing up the rear on Monday, October 15th.
