Big Brother is one of the biggest reality shows in the world, and for good reason. Nothing satisfies people’s intense curiosity quite like being able to spy on willing participants whenever they want and from the comfort of their own homes.

Perhaps for its unique approach to reality TV, the American version of Big Brother has been around for over two decades. Typically, the show releases a new season yearly, premiering sometime between June, July, or August. With Summer 2023 already underway, reality enthusiasts are already wondering when the series will return, to no one’s surprise. The heat makes us all antsy.

Big Brother season 25 premiere date

After being delayed due to the impact of the Writers Guild of America strike, everything is finally in place for season 25 of Big Brother. (And yes, even reality television requires writers, believe it or not.)

Fortunately, the show will return on July 26 for a special hour-long episode, in celebration of its 25th season, but so far there’s no telling what this special will grace us with. CBS isn’t letting anything slip. If you’re already looking forward to the actual season premiere, though, worry not, an official date has also already been set.

Big Brother‘s 25th season is scheduled to begin airing on Aug. 2, with a 90-minute episode to kick things off right. After that, three episodes will air weekly to keep fans up to date with everything that goes on inside the Big Brother house, until the season reaches the end. Of course, the usual 24-hour live feeds will also be available on Paramount Plus for those who wish to get a look at what the house guests are doing at all times of the day.

What kind of drama will befall the house this time? Will romance spark between the new contestants? Who will be the next winner? Tune in to find out.
