The Voice is undergoing something of a shake up for season 24. Judge Blake Shelton is departing the program after a long stint on the program dating back to its first season. The country singer has not commented on the reason for his departure, leaving fans in the dark as to the reason for his exit.

The new line of judges includes country singer and famed sitcom mom Reba McEntire, pop singer Niall Horan, pop rock singer Gwen Stefani (and wife of departing judge Shelton), and R&B singer John Legend.

McEntire has previously been on the show – as a ‘mega mentor’ last season and as a ‘battle advisor’ to Team Blake back in season 1. Horan, who’s a former member of One Direction, is also returning to the show after making his debut as a coach during season 23. Meanwhile, Stefani has appeared the most out of all of the new coaches, having previously served as a coach in 7 seasons and an advisor in several more. Legend, meanwhile, is back after taking a hiatus from the show during season 23. He previously served as a judge from seasons 16 to 22.
