Warning: This article contains spoilers for Big Brother 25 and week 13’s eviction episode, which aired on CBS on Nov. 5.
Three houseguests punched their tickets to finale night while a fourth joined the Jury as its sixth member on Big Brother 25 during Sunday night’s live eviction episode.
After Survivor legend and The Traitors US winner Cirie Fields left the house on Nov. 2, Jag Bains, Felicia Cannon, and Bowie Jane Ball dueled for the season’s penultimate Head of Household with outgoing ruler Matt Klotz spectating from the sidelines. Bowie Jane came out on top of the “Comicverse” quiz competition, securing a spot in the top three.
Later, Bowie Jane nominated Matt and Felicia, with the latter becoming Bowie, Matt, and Jag Bains’ primary target. The trio have worked together in unison for weeks, eliminating contestants one by one through competition wins, and Felicia remained as the only player left outside of their “Mafia” alliance.
Jag went on to win the Power of Veto — the final of the season — which granted him ultimate power. By donning the golden necklace, he earned the right to cast the sole eviction vote against Felicia or Matt.
And Jag understood his position and the consequences that loomed.
Although Felicia was the target the three of them had discussed, Jag also knew his fellow “Minuteman,” Matt, was a sizeable threat to bring further into the game. Matt’s relationship with the Jury members is potentially stronger than Jag’s, and considering Jag’s won the most competitions out of anybody, he has more blood from eliminated houseguests on his hands.
Speaking with Bowie Jane, someone he’s built a final-two pact with, Jag hemmed and hawed about the pros and cons of backstabbing the 27-year-old Deaflympics gold medalist.
But, as history has it, Jag stuck to his agreement with Matt. During Sunday night’s special eviction episode, Jag sent the 63-year-old real estate agent to the Jury house.
Felicia spoke with host Julie Chen Moonves after walking out the front door, and she shared her respect for Jag’s move and loyalty.
We’re only two episodes away from crowning the CBS flagship series’ newest champion and the $750,000 recipient. Either Jag, Matt, or Bowie Jane will win the three-part Head of Household competition, and the winner will be tasked to choose who sits beside them while they’re interrogated by the ones they evicted the past few weeks.
Then, the seven-person Jury — which one of the three will round out — will cast their votes to determine who ultimately represents the historically long season.
