YouTuber Kwite has found himself in the center of controversy after allegations were made against him by Twitter user @nyasputiin. In a Twitlonger post, the user makes some serious allegations against the popular YouTuber that, if true, could mean the end of his career online.

The popular YouTuber currently has nearly two million subscribers and has been creating videos full-time since 2019, although the allegations are from 2017 to 2018. Orion, the Twitter user who made the post detailing Kwite’s behavior, met the YouTuber in 2017 — back when he had fewer than 500 subscribers. The pair had “an extremely toxic friendship/on-and-off relationship since 2017.”

Orion describes how he met Kwite, offering to draw art for his channel and even suggesting that he use his now-iconic mask and sunglasses look. The pair bonded over discussions surrounding their mental health. Orion was unaware at the time, but he was later diagnosed with autism and BPD. Over time, the relationship turned sour due to his behavior.

Kwite and Orion would meet up in person multiple times. However, the former had a strict rule against any pictures being taken of him — the same rule did not apply for Orion. The YouTuber would also frequently deadname Orion, who is a trans man. Orion claims he trusted him and told him his deadname due to his transphobic parents. However, Kwite would supposedly use his deadname to belittle him. According to Orion, Kwite even went as far as calling him a “d*ke who thinks she’s a boy and will never be.”

Orion goes on to describe an instance where Kwite allegedly sexually assaulted him in the back of his car. The incident supposedly happened in February 2018 and Orion claims to have pictures that prove that he and Kwite were indeed together on the day he was assaulted.

Further allegations include frequent instances of gaslighting as well as emotionally manipulative behavior, including love bombing and using Orion’s abandonment issues against him by ghosting him when he was most in need. After Orion first made his allegations, he found himself under fire from Kwite’s growing fanbase. The pair spoke to clear the air, however, Orion claims that Kwite continued to gaslight him and even grew violent over the call.

Since the post yesterday, there has been no word from Kwite. On Twitter, #dropkwite began trending as many came out to support the victim. There have been some responses from Kwite fans who have predictably jumped to the YouTuber’s defense, claiming that Orion’s mental health issues make his story unreliable, while others have asked for proof. There have also been alleged death threats against Orion and those who have come out to support him.
