It’s certainly been a great week for fans of Suicide Squad, now hasn’t it? Just yesterday, we learned that Gavin O’Connor is in final talks to direct Task Force X’s next cinematic outing and, today, we’re pleased to bring you an exclusive first look inside the finale to the “Kill Your Darlings” story arc.

A couple months ago, we were the first to provide a sneak peek at issue #21, which served as the opening chapter, and we’re quite proud to be able to bookend this part of writer Rob Williams’ ongoing epic. So, if you require a refresher, be sure to check out our review here.

When it comes to the conclusion we’re here to discuss, we’d have to say that all involved couldn’t have picked a better time to wrap things up. After all, Suicide Squad #25 is the latest ongoing title to hit that magic number in the Rebirth era, thus DC is willing to afford the creative team more breathing room with some extra pages. Not only that, but an epilogue of sorts is also set to be included, so be sure not to skip it.

As we can see in the preview gallery, Williams and company have seemingly served up one heck of a barn-burner. In addition to Harley Quinn and the rest of the crew being forced to take down a techno-possessed Amanda Waller (you’ll know what we’re talking about when you read it), Batman and former Squad member Killer Frost join the action for some cross-pollination with Justice League of America. Now, if that isn’t worth the price of admission alone, we don’t know what is.

Suicide Squad #25 arrives in comic shops next Wednesday, September 13.
