We’ve got a long wait ahead of us before Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians return to the silver screen for a third outing, but that doesn’t mean we’re going without the company of Marvel’s lovable spacefarers entirely. Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series‘ second episode is scheduled to arrive next month, June 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and mobile devices, the developer has announced.

Officially titled Under Pressure, the second episode in Telltale’s galactic series picks up right after the events of the season’s premiere outing, with Star-Lord, Rocket and the rest of the gang attempting to decrypt the mysteries of a certain powerful relic that’s found its way into their possession. Story details beyond that are light, but Telltale does tease that the group will receive help from “dubious old friends,” as well as “unwilling new allies,” so expect a few surprises to crop up during your travels.

Besides the persistent threat that is Thanos constantly pursuing them across the galaxy, Telltale promises that Under Pressure will delve deeper into Rocket’s past, with rising tensions among the group threatening a premature split. Dark days lie ahead, then, eh? There’s no launch or teaser trailer to go along with Telltale’s announcement, but you can expect one or the other to drop closer to release day.

Elsewhere, Telltale’s currently hard at work on its finale for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. Episode 5: From the Gallows is out next week, May 30 for all aforementioned platforms, and it’s sure to be a belter. Check back next week for our review of the season’s end.
