King’s Quest fans won’t have to wait long to wrap up King Graham’s story, as Sierra Entertainment has revealed that the final chapter will arrive faster than expected. The publisher announced that the 5th chapter, as well as the complete retail edition, will launch on October 25.

Developed by The Odd Gentlemen, King’s Quest – Chapter 5: The Good Knight picks up with King Graham having aged significantly. Now both ancient in the past and present, Graham’s health will be put to the test as he embarks on one final adventure for his kingdom. Will his memories hold up as he relays this tale to Gwendolyn, though?

With the rebooted series wrapping up, Matt Korba, President and Creative Director of The Odd Gentlemen, reflected on the experience.

Watching King Graham grow up through each chapter has been surreal for our team, as we ourselves have grown as game developers and humans right beside him. It’s a rare opportunity to be able to cover the lifetime of a character in one series of a video game, and as we approach the end, we are incredibly excited for players to experience the final pages of this vision of King Graham’s journey.

Previously only available digitally, King’s Quest: The Complete Collection will provide another way for gamers to check out the title. Coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the retail edition will collect the first four chapters of the story on-disc. The final chapter, as well as the epilogue, will have to be downloaded, though. The set is also coming to the Xbox 360, but the disc for that release only features the first episode, with the rest needed to be downloaded separately.

Writer John Fleury has been covering King’s Quest for us ever since it started back in July 2015. Once Upon A Climb, the 3rd episode, has received the highest praise, but all four chapters have received decent marks. You can check out reviews of the each chapter of the reboot by clicking here.

Expect our review of King’s Quest – Chapter 5: The Good Knight to go online around October 25.
