Ubisoft Will Have A Large Presence At Fan Expo Canada

Today, Ubisoft Canada announced that it will have a major presence at the 2013 Fan Expo Canada convention, which is scheduled for later this month. By press release means, the company unveiled the news, and went into details surrounding exactly what it will offer both fans and press members at this year's iteration of the popular event.

Today, Ubisoft Canada announced that it will have a major presence at the 2013 Fan Expo Canada convention, which is scheduled for later this month. By press release means, the company unveiled the news, and went into details surrounding exactly what it will offer both fans and press members at this year’s iteration of the popular event.

In addition to being able to meet comic legend Todd McFarlane, and purchase three special figures from his Assassin’s Creed set, attendees will also be able to demo the following games at the Ubisoft booth:

  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist
  • Rayman Legends
  • Rocksmith 2014
  • South Park: The Stick of Truth
  • Just Dance 2014
  • Watch Dogs
  • Might & Magic: Duel of Champions

Members from Ubisoft Toronto’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist development team will also be there, in order to talk about their work on the game. They will be flanked by actors from the stealth-action game’s cast.

Fan Expo Canada will run from August 22-25 in downtown Toronto.

UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES FAN EXPO CANADA LINEUP

MONTRÉAL — August 13, 2013 — Today, Ubisoft announced its Fan Expo Canada™ lineup featuring some of Ubisoft’s highly anticipated titles including, Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™, Tom Clancy’s® Splinter Cell® Blacklist™, Rayman® Legends, South Park™: The Stick of Truth™, Rocksmith™ 2014, Just Dance 2014 and Watch Dogs™. The highly popular Might & Magic® Duel of Champions will also be playable.

In addition to hands-on time with some of the games, fans will also have the opportunity to meet comic book legend Todd McFarlane and get a first look at a wide range of products, including figures, statues and novelty toys based on the successful Assassin’s Creed® franchise and Raving Rabbids® video games and television series.

To celebrate Todd’s visit to Canada in 20 years, Ubisoft and McFarlane Toys will make three of the seven Assassin’s Creed – Series 1 figures, Connor, Haytham and Edward Kenway, available for purchase exclusively to Fan Expo Canada™ attendees prior to their official release later this year.

The Actors behind Splinter Cell Blacklist: Canadian actors, including Eric Johnson, Kate Drummond and David Reale, discuss the process of bringing their Splinter Cell Blacklist characters to life and explain the different aspects of their work, alongside Ubisoft Toronto Game Director David Footman.

Out of the Shadows – A deep dive into Splinter Cell Blacklist: Splinter Cell Blacklist marks a major milestone for Ubisoft Toronto as the studio’s first full production. Meet Ubisoft Toronto’s Senior Producer Alex Parizeau, Creative Director Maxime Beland, Game Director Patrick Redding, and Art Director Scott Lee behind the game and hear insights into the development and inspiration for Blacklist.

Hands-on demonstrations, celebrity signings and special presentations will be held at the company’s booth (#1946).
