The Alliance And The Horde Battle Off In New Promo Posters For Warcraft

Since director Duncan Jones treated attendees at this year's San Diego Comic-Con to a preview of Warcraft, fans have been holding their breath waiting for its appearance online. Months have flown by and yet there's still no sign of the preliminary footage he showcased at the premiere industry event. While that sneak peek was a mere tease, it's likely we've yet to see a fully-formed trailer on the Azeroth-set epic as it's still in post-production. But never fear, as a set of four new posters have been unveiled for your viewing pleasure!

Since director Duncan Jones treated attendees at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con to a preview of Warcraft, fans have been holding their breath waiting for its appearance online. Months have flown by and yet there’s still no sign of the preliminary footage he showcased at the premiere industry event. While that sneak peek was a mere tease, it’s likely we’ve yet to see a fully-formed trailer on the Azeroth-set epic as it’s still in post-production. But never fear, as a set of four new posters have been unveiled for your viewing pleasure!

After months stuck toiling away with the wizards from ILM to perfectly bring the movie to life, Jones will be attending BlizzCon, which takes place this weekend. At the annual convention held by game designer Blizzard Entertainment, it’s expected that he’ll reveal a slew of new footage to those present.

Before that, though, feast your eyes on the crop of new promo art that’s landed today. Two of the one sheets are dominated by the Alliance, and the other by the Horde. Both sets contain URLs directing fans to a couple of newly-launched websites; FightForTheAlliance.com and FightForTheHorde.com. You can check out all four in the gallery below, and throw in your two cents on the battle-tastic imagery in the comments.

Warcraft will hit cinemas in 2D and 3D on March 11th 2016.

Legendary Pictures’ WARCRAFT, a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe, is directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and is written by Charles Leavitt and rewritten by Duncan Jones. The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Alex Gartner. Stuart Fenegan, Jillian Share and Brent O’Connor serve as executive producers. Blizzard’s Chris Metzen co-produces.
