Earlier today, we got a new batch of Justice League set photos putting the spotlight on Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and now director Zack Snyder has taken to Vero to share another new look at the Game of Thrones alum as the King of Atlantis. This one comes from the movie’s editing suite as Snyder captioned it, “Working in the dark.” It’s essentially an official still from Justice League, and while it doesn’t reveal much, it clearly takes place in the same remote town Bruce Wayne heads to in order to confront Arthur Curry.
Who is Aquaman speaking to here? It could be Wonder Woman, but it’s just as likely that it’s a random bystander. We’ll have to wait until Justice League is released to find out, but with it looking like Batman probably fails to recruit the undersea adventurer to the team, it’s definitely possible that Diana Prince tries to do what he couldn’t.
In related news, there’s been a lot of buzz lately about when the next trailer for Justice League will be released, but it’s doubtful that it’s coming this year. Something will definitely be attached to Wonder Woman in July, but don’t be surprised if something turns up online before then.
Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot, Ciarán Hinds, Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa, Justice League is set to be released on November 17th, 2017.
