Chris Hemsworth Was “Weirdly Shaken” When He First Met Chris Pratt

Thanks to starring as the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Hemsworth is now one of the most recognizable actors on the planet. As one of the leading men in arguably the biggest movie franchise in the world right now, you might think that the Australian actor would have gotten over things like being starstruck when meeting other people in the industry. It turns out he's only human, though - unlike his Asgardian alter ego - and was left shaken after being introduced to one of his Marvel co-stars for the first time.

While speaking to Elle, Hemsworth admitted that he had a weird reaction after encountering Chris Pratt on the set of Avengers: Infinity WarApparently, it was all to do with the Guardians of the Galaxy star’s charisma.

“The first time I really met Chris Pratt—and went on set with him and the Guardians—I was weirdly shaken. [Laughs] I don’t know why. He’s just so charismatic. And good at what he does.”

Presumably, Hemsworth got over his initial reaction pretty quickly, as we know that that two actors worked together quite a lot on Infinity War. Co-director Joe Russo previously said that Thor and Star-Lord will make for “a very surprising… and a very funny combination” in the movie, as Thor is set to ally himself with the crew of the Milano. And, if you caught the Comic-Con trailer that leaked last month, you’ll know that it gave us our first glimpse at the God of Thunder meeting the Guardians – with the scene being just as awesome as you’d expect.

Thankfully, we might not have to wait until Avengers: Infinity War arrives next May to see the duo meet on screen. Why? Well, because it’s been rumored that the Guardians will turn up in the post-credits scene for Thor: Ragnarokwhich lands in cinemas on November 3rd. No doubt that crossover will leave fans just as “weirdly shaken” as Chris Hemsworth was after meeting Pratt.
