The Flash May Have A Cameo In Suicide Squad

David Ayer's Suicide Squad is already packed full with more than enough characters, but it seems like there may be one more showing up - albeit in a cameo role which likely won't involve much screentime. Already set to feature the colorful and wacky crew that is Task Force X, along with Batman and his longtime nemesis The Joker, we're now hearing reports that The Flash will appear in the DC Comics adaptation as well.

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad is already packed full with more than enough characters, but it seems like there may be one more showing up – albeit in a cameo role which likely won’t involve much screentime. Already set to feature the colorful and wacky crew that is Task Force X, along with Batman and his longtime nemesis The Joker, we’re now hearing reports that The Flash will appear in the DC Comics adaptation as well.

Fans of the source material will no doubt know that Jai Courtney’s character, Captain Boomerang, has often found himself at odds with the Scarlet Speedster, which left many people wondering if Ezra Miller, who’s playing The Flash in Justice League, would somehow factor into Suicide Squad. Thus far, we haven’t had any confirmation on that, but with rumors swirling for a while now, this latest hint definitely leads us to believe that Miller will indeed show up here.

Over the weekend at Comic-Con, Warner Bros. released one final trailer for the next film in the DCEU, and if you pause it at just the right moment, you’ll see Boomerang coming into contact with a very familiar lightning effect, one which can also be seen in the Justice League trailer. Of course, this has led many to believe that The Flash will have a fleeting cameo when Task Force X assembles next month.

While far from concrete, this, combined with everything else we know, leaves us feeling pretty confident about an appearance from The Fastest Man Alive. We’ll have to wait until next Friday to find out for sure, but until then, feel free to hit the comments section and let you know what you make of the image below, which was pulled from the Suicide Squad trailer and appears to show Captain Boomerang encountering The Flash.
