Latest Avengers 4 Fan Theory Alludes To Some Unlikely Allies

Over on Reddit, one curious Marvel fan has cobbled together a theory which suggests Earth's Mightiest Heroes will receive help from an unlikely source come 2019.

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are down, but they’re not out. Not yet, at least.

Thanks to Joe and Anthony Russo’s Infinity War, the MCU’s most famous heroes are either reeling from their encounter with Thanos or, worse, they’ve slipped into some nebulous purgatory following the Mad Titan’s Snap of Doom.

It’s one which reduced half of all life in the universe to dust – Spider-Man, Black Panther and Scarlet Witch included, to name but three – though the latest Avengers 4 theory presented by Redditor ‘jeevesyboi’ suggests the remaining members of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are about to receive some support from an unlikely source(s) come 2019.

So the snap affected the whole universe so in Avengers 4 there could be many different races that will be wanting to help the remaining Avengers. Do you think the Avengers will have a lot of help from some unexpected species. There’s a few different people who knew that Thanos was trying to gather the infinity stones and some of them might have known what he was trying to do with them. Now that they know he succeeded then there could be races like the Kree and any remaining Xandarians trying to fix it. Maybe some Ravagers too. It could be a deciding factor when all hope seems to be lost and backup arrives from a variety of maybe previously hostile races.

Those allies hail from all over the cosmos, too, as survivors from Xandar and the homeworld of the Kree unite in the face of a common threat – hell, this particular fan theory even goes so far as to suggest that the Ravagers, best known for their turn in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, will pitch in as well.

It’s a stretch, mind you, as Avengers 4 is likely to focus on Marvel’s Phase One heroes as they mount a final assault on Thanos – the studio’s creative players aren’t known for calling upon a deus ex machina to escape from a tricky screenwriting situation, after all. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
