One of the coolest things about this TV spot is seeing the redesigned DC Comics logo get something of a makeover to tie into the movie. If you cast you mind back to the last trailer, you may recall the previous logo getting a similar treatment, as it was set to The Joker’s laugh. This one in particular looks really cool and it should be fun to see how it differs with other upcoming DC flicks.

With rumours pointing to reshoots taking place in order to tidy up the third act and add some humour, Warner Bros. are no doubt hoping that Suicide Squad is received a little more positively than Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was back in March. If it is a success (and it does look great so far), don’t be too surprised to see rival studios also develop villain led comic book movies.

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis and Ben Affleck (along with a number of others; this is quite the ensemble), Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016.
