Magician comedy Burt Wonderstone has begun filming in Las Vegas this week and today we have some set photos featuring the film’s stars Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde and Steve Buscemi.
30 Rock’s Don Scardino is directing the original screenplay from Chad Kultgen. Horrible Bosses scribe John Francis Daley and Jason Reitman also had a hand in re-writes for the script.
There is some strong talent involved here and all things considered, I’m expecting a pretty solid comedy. With Carell at the front with Carrey supporting him, I don’t see how things can go wrong. Plus, it will also be great to see Gandolfini and Buscemi having a little post-Sopranos reunion.
Burt Wonderston stars Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Steve Buscemi, James Gandolfini, Alan Arkin, Brad Garrett, and Jay Mohr, and is likely to hit cinemas either late this year, or early 2013.
