It was only yesterday that we got what was billed as the “final” trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it turns out that Disney and Lucasfilm had at least one more incredible preview for us. This one is every bit as exciting, and with tickets for the film set to go on sale on Monday, it will have you hitting F5 on your keyboard like a maniac to ensure that you’re among the first to see it.
That’s a pretty impressive feat considering the fact that there have been some pretty worrying behind the scenes rumours, and that this movie tells a story which fans pretty much know the ending of. However, you can’t blame the studio for pushing it hard, as they look to make it clear to moviegoers what exactly the first Anthology movie is all about.
[zergpaid]As for this new trailer, there are a lot of great new snippets included and it does an excellent job of teasing us with what’s to come as Jyn Erso and her team of Rebels look to steal the plans of the first Death Star. Yes, we know that they succeed, but trailers like this make damn sure that every Star Wars fan out there is excited to go on this journey anyways.
The cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story includes Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed and a number of others. It’s set to blast into theaters on December 15th in the UK and December 16th in the US. Just three weeks to go, folks.
