X-23 Misbehaves In This TV Spot For Logan

We're now just over a month away from the release of James Mangold's Logan, which will mark Hugh Jackman's last outing as Wolverine before he hangs up the adamantium claws for good - unless Ryan Reynolds can coax him into returning, that is. That's not likely to happen though, and Mangold's threequel will no doubt spell the end. As such, it's got fans very excited to see just what the titular hero will get up to for his final appearance on screen.

After releasing a new trailer last week that had everyone talking, and for good reason, 20th Century Fox has now dropped the first TV spot for the film. It doesn’t show off any new footage – the studio seems to be holding their cards close to their chest on this one, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing – but it does provide a humourous look at Logan, reassuring us that it won’t be all doom and gloom for Wolvie.

In the new spot, we watch as X-23 tries to shoplift at a convenience store and when the clerk tries to stop her, she shows off just what she’s capable off. It isn’t long before the iconic hero steps in to reprimand her though, telling the young girl that her behavior is “not okay.” Parenting 101, right?

Essentially, it’s the exact same scene that opened up the previous trailer, but it’s an amusing promo and likely just the first of many. Hopefully, the next ones will give us something in the way of new footage, as we’re itching to see more of Logan as it truly does look like one of the most unique superhero movies in some time. Both X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Wolverine failed to give the character a truly spectacular solo outing, but it looks like this one might finally be it.

Logan will claw its way into theaters on March 3rd, and aside from Jackman it also stars Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen and more.
