Malaa Offers Up A Slew Of IDs In New Live Set

Of all the breakout acts that have come to prominence in 2016, Malaa has been one of the most interesting to watch. The masked DJ unloaded his bass heavy brand of G-house on unsuspecting listeners earlier in the summer with the release of his debut EP Illicit, followed up by a collaboration with Tchami titled "Prophecy" from back in September. More recently, Malaa has been holding down a host of concert dates with REZZ on The Lunatic Tour.

During a recent gig in Chicago at the Concord Hall, Malaa unleashed a slew of unreleased material for the packed crowd. After starting the show off with the”Illicit Intro,” the performance explodes into a frenzy of grimey bass hits and four on the floor beats, as exemplified by the producer’s signature style of G-house.

Malaa uploaded the full set to his official SoundCloud, giving fans the chance to hear the hour and fifteen minute long performance in its entirety. As 1001tracklists reports, there are as many as a total of seven unreleased tracks featured in the set. With plenty of new material and a constant supply of hard hitting house, the new live set is definitely a must listen.
