Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Promo Teases Most Wanted Spinoff

Tonight's installment of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. turned out to be quite an eventful one, as Fitz and Simmons discovered that the secret to preventing the effects of terrigensis lay in the blood of Carl Creel, a.k.a the Absorbing Man - though it can't actually reverse the process once it's begun.

Needless to say this was the cause for much heated discussion among the team, some of whom view this potential Inhuman “cure” as unnatural, while others see it as a Godsend.

Two characters who would seem to fall firmly into the latter category are Bobbi and Hunter, who head off on a mission to Russia with orders to prevent Malick forming an Inhuman sanctuary. The promo above also features an attack from a very powerful-looking Inhuman assassin, so their job won’t be easy.

Many feel this may be a precursor to the Marvel’s Most Wanted spinoff that’s in the works, which will see Hunter and Bobbi split away from the team and go rogue. Perhaps the reasons why will be teased in next week’s episode? Time will tell.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns next Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC with “Parting Shot.”
