First Full Trailer For Game Of Thrones Season 4

It's a big night tonight for HBO. With premieres of Girls and True Detective (we'll have reviews of both shows for you a bit later) fans of the network have a lot to be excited about. In fact, we wouldn't blame you for not even remembering that there's something else premiering tonight that's equally as important. What are we talking about? Why, the first full-length trailer for Game of Thrones season 4, of course.

It’s a big night tonight for HBO. With premieres of Girls and True Detective, fans of the network have a lot to be excited about. In fact, we wouldn’t blame you for not even remembering that there’s something else premiering tonight that’s equally as important. What are we talking about? Why, the first full-length trailer for Game of Thrones season 4, of course.

I haven’t read the novels that the show is based on but I must say, the upcoming season has me very, very excited. There’s a ton to look forward to and as the trailer shows us, nothing and no one is safe. Everyone is continuing on the path that we last saw them on at the close of season 3 and things are about to get even crazier in Westeros. As Jaime tells Joffrey, “the war’s not won,” and he’s absolutely right. His biggest threat is perhaps Daenerys Targaryen, who is hellbent on claiming what she believes is rightfully hers. “They have a choice,” she says in the trailer. “They can live in my new world, or die in their old one.”

Of course, we also get a glimpse at all the other characters and plot lines that we’ll be exposed to over the course of the season, but Daenerys is going to be the one to watch and I can’t wait to see what happens with her. Again, I haven’t read the novels, so I have no idea what season 4 holds in store. But if there’s one character who I’m curious about moreso than the others, it’s certainly the khaleesi.

Game of Thrones returns on Sunday, April 6th at 9 p.m. Check out the first trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments section.
