Team Arrow Is A House Divided In Extended Midseason Premiere Promo

Now that 2018 is officially underway and we have the holidays behind us, it’s about time that we get back to the TV shows that we love. To be more specific, folks like me can’t wait to resume the current season of what DC has to offer and, fortunately, that’ll arrive next week with a slew of midseason premieres, culminating with the returning episode of Arrow.

So, after spoiling us with a fresh batch of images culled from the appropriately titled “Divided,” the network is willing to let loose yet another goodie in the form of an extended trailer. Being considerably meatier than any other promo video we’ve seen since the winter hiatus began, we get more hints as to how fractured Team Arrow truly is, with the originals – Oliver Queen, John Diggle and Felicity Smoak – going about their own way, and the rest – Wild Dog, Black Canary and Mr. Terrific – forging their own path.

Counter to that, Cayden James‘ cabal is seemingly stronger than ever, with his cohorts such as Black Siren, Vigilante and Anatoly Knyazev set to play big roles going forward. And, speaking of which, Black Siren gets a fair amount of screentime herself in the footage provided.

For more info regarding “Divided,” be sure to check out the official synopsis below:

OLIVER DISCOVERS A SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT CAYDEN JAMES — Despite losing half his team, Oliver (Stephen Amell) remains confident that he, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) can stop Cayden James (guest star Michael Emerson) and Black Siren (Katie Cassidy).

However, when he discovers one of Cayden’s secrets, he decides to team up with an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) spends time with Vince (guest star Johann Urb). James Bamford directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#610).

Arrow returns with new episodes on Thursday, January 18 on The CW.
