We are, of course, talking about The Flash.

While recently speaking at a panel being conducted at Fandemic Tour Sacramento, Riggs expressed interest in meeting the Scarlet Speedster at some point in the not too distant future. Here’s what went down when he was asked if he’d prefer to be in a Marvel or DC production:

Riggs: “Honestly, I really like both, but The Flash is one of my favorite shows of all time. So I would say something DC.”

Panel moderator Clare Kramer: “There’s room for you on The Flash.”

Riggs: “Yeah, I hope so. We’ll see!”

Obviously, this is but the dream of one young man, but seeing as how he already has one of the most successful TV shows of the modern era under his belt, it certainly wouldn’t hurt for Greg Berlanti and company to take Chandler under consideration when casting for season 5.

Right now, not much is known about what the next year will have to offer, but some juicy rumors have surfaced in the interim. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d like to see Riggs playing a hero, as the show has already blown through so many villains that the writers are now forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel for whatever Z-listers they can find.

The Flash returns for its fifth season on Tuesday, October 9 on The CW.
