Tetris Effect: Connected will bring the 2018 title to the Switch on Oct. 8. The port was announced at today’s IndieWorld Showcase.

Alongside introducing Tetris Effect to Nintendo Switch users, players can join in on local and online multiplayer, including crossplatform play.

Tetris Effect combines traditional Tetris gameplay with procedurally generated music and landscapes. Themes are predesigned before play, but gradually reveal themselves as players continue to traverse through puzzle segments.

Tetris Effect: Connected previously launched on Nov. 10, 2020 for Xbox and PC. Launched as an enhanced version of the original, this is Connected’s first non-Microsoft platform release.
