First Official Photo Off The Set Of Sherlock Holmes II

We've seen some photos from the set of Sherlock Holmes II, the sequel to last year's Sherlock Holmes from director Guy Ritchie. But those photos weren't official, this one is! And they also only featured Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr., not Ms. Noomi Rapace ('The Girl' that got into so much trouble in Steig Larsson's Millenium trilogy). This is casting is Rapace's first American role.

We’ve seen some photos from the set of Sherlock Holmes II, the sequel to last year’s Sherlock Holmes from director Guy Ritchie.  But those photos weren’t official, this one is!  And they also only featured Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr., not Ms. Noomi Rapace (‘The Girl’ that got into so much trouble in Steig Larsson’s Millennium trilogy).  This casting is Rapace’s first American role.Everyone is keeping tightlipped about the plot of the film.  Very little is known about what Guy Ritchie will show us.  We do know, however, that Stephen Fry has been cast as Mycroft Sherlock, Rapace is a French gypsy, and Jared Harris will be playing Professor Moriarty.

No one seems to know (including the actress herself) whether or not Rachel McAdams will be reprising her role.  The film is set to release during the holiday season of 2011.
