The first promo photo (which is kind of like a small poster), has been released for Fast & Furious 6. The film is currently gearing up for production, with principle photography set to begin in Europe sometime in the next few weeks.
The plot details are being kept under wraps at the moment, but we do know that the main cast, consisting of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, and Michelle Rodriguez, whose character Letty we all believed was dead until the end of the fifth film, will all return.
Also joining the franchise as the main villain is Luke Evans, along with additional new cast members like Rihanna, David Tennant and MMA fighter and Haywire star Gina Carano.
Though nothing has been confirmed, we may also see the return of actors like Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Eva Mendes, Gal Gadot and Sung Hang, who all popped up in previous installments.
The first image doesn’t really give us anything aside from a nice little tease, but hopefully we will be able to expect more soon, especially with the film’s release just under a year away.
Fast & Furious 6, directed by Justin Lin, will be released on May 24th, 2o13.
