A pulse-pounding new horror feature has convinced everyone that Dave Bautista can do no wrong

In Dave we trust.

From creating havoc across the galaxy in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy catalog to undoubtedly surpassing Dwayne Johnson in theatrical popularity, Dave Bautista has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with in the Hollywood bubble. And with the upcoming launch of a fresh-faced horror extravaganza, the entire world is now wholeheartedly convinced that the wrestler-turned-actor can seemingly do no harm in any genre.

The new horror feature in question, of course, is M. Night Shyamalan’s apocalyptic thriller Knock at the Cabin — which features Bautista in the starring role as a threatening stranger who is desperate to escape the impending doom of the apocalypse. And after the official trailer (and a handful of reviews) dropped online, folks on Twitter are now convinced that Bautista can consistently make movie magic happen — even in a genre as niche as horror.

In all of us, you mean…

At this point, Dave can’t miss.

Dave in his bag is the perfect way to get 2023 started.

Truth be told, Bautista’s overwhelming success comes as no surprise, and it’s certainly happening just at the right time — especially when you consider that the actor was getting fed up with only being regarded as Drax in the MCU. Now, Bautista is allowing himself to fully branch out and touch other genres — and it definitely doesn’t feel like he’s going to disappoint in Shyamalan’s latest venture.

And yet, it still remains to be seen just how effective Bautista’s character will be in the new flick. But one thing is for certain, and that’s that the 54-year-old megastar will surely have a list of hits scheduled in the months following. For now, be sure to catch Knock at the Cabin when it arrives in theaters on Feb. 3.
