Galentine’s Day — AKA Valentine’s Day eve — is an annual celebration where individuals show appreciation to their loved ones. The tradition originated from a 2010 Park and Recreation episode titled “Galentine’s Day,” where Amy Poehler‘s character discussed the importance of friendships and honoring them just as much as sexual or romantic relationships.
On Feb. 13, Brie Larson commemorated that special moment by sending well wishes to her best friends. In a post shared on Larson’s social media account, the actress uploaded throwback images of the group, including Miho Suzuki, Alia Penner, and Laurel Kelly, as they attended dinner and went to what appears to be a museum.
The Captain Marvel star wrote in the caption, “Happy Galentine’s Day to my besties.” As fans viewed Larson’s upload, a handful raved over the 33-year-old and her friends’ good looks and their strong relationship.
One Twitter user said they wished Brie enjoyed her time out with her “wonderful peeps.”
At the same time, another individual brought up how much they loved Brie’s bond with her girls.
A third social media user pointed out that Brie and her friends are a “beautiful squad.”
While one person expressed that Larson appeared to be genuinely happy as she spent quality time with her friends.
What makes the Galentine’s day post even more pressing is that Larson shared this months after she was last seen publicly with her boyfriend, Elijah Allan-Blitz. The actor and Larson have been dating since 2019. The last time Larson and Blitz were seen on her social media account was in September 2022, after she shared an upload about a project they were collaborating on.
Although there are no details surrounding Larson’s current relationship status, the couple appears to be on good terms; they still follow each other on social media, and have each other’s photos on their respective accounts.
