It’s lucky Dwayne Johnson was booted from the DCU, because Aquaman would freak over his enormous sushi plate

The former Man in Black is no friend of the sea creature.

Despite having plenty in common given their status as handsome, jacked, and incredibly charismatic stars with strong ties to Hawaii, we suspect Dwayne Johnson and Jason Momoa’s DCU characters wouldn’t quite be the best of friends.

After all, the latter’s Aquaman is ruler of the underwater world of Atlantis, and friend to all aquatic life, even if Peacemaker kept reiterating that he was perhaps a little too friendly with his denizens. As for Black Adam, he may have been an all-powerful demigod with a ruthless streak, but based on Johnson’s off-camera activities, the two would never get on.

Taking to Instagram, the actor and producer unveiled what could only be a plate of sushi so gargantuan that it wouldn’t just give PETA the chills, but it may have the capabilities to bring Arthur Curry to the surface. Being the shameless self-promoter that he is, though, you can imagine which particular brand of tequila he used to wash it all down.

That is quite the helping of fish, but when you’re the size of The Rock, it takes a lot of fuel to keep you going. He is the hardest worker in any room he steps into, and you can’t maintain a business empire on an empty stomach, regardless of the fact his desire to change the hierarchy of power in the DCU went down in an embarrassing ball of flames at the very first hurdle.

If there’s such a thing as too much sushi, then Johnson has showed the world what it is, a single tiny tear rolls down Aquaman’s cheek, if that’s even possible underwater.
