Jeremy Renner reacts to Chris Hemsworth’s approval of his hammer-wielding skills

Chris Hemsworth approves of Jeremy Renner's hammer-wielding skills.

We love when our “friends from work” have our backs in life, and that has to be true of superhero colleagues too. Chris Hemsworth is giving his fellow Avenger Jeremy Renner a little hype on Twitter as his latest project Rennervations prepares to park itself on Disney Plus soon.

Renner has had a rough time of it recently, with the accident that left him hospitalized with 30 broken bones and a heap of physical therapy to get through. Despite this, he will appear on our screens with Rennervations, a show he shot before the accident that sees the actor share his great love of fixing things up. He travels the globe with his buddy and business partner Rory Millikin, as they find and renovate decommissioned vehicles and put them to good use.

This of course requires many many tools, one such tool perhaps being the humble hammer, and we all know who wields a hammer better than anyone. Far from feeling as if he is having his territory invaded, Hemsworth gave his co-star and his show a little shout-out over on Twitter.

The love was also returned, with Renner responding,

Renner is thrilled to be able to give back to communities with the renovated vehicles serving them in one form or another, either as a music studio, delivery truck, even a water treatment facility. He also brought some friends along for the ride in the form of Vanessa Hudgens (Tick, Tick… Boom!), Anil Kapoor (Mission Impossible, Slumdog Millionaire), Sebastián Yatra (Encanto), and another Avenger alum, Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier).

You can check out the series when it drops on Disney Plus on April 12.
