Adam Sandler reveals which one of his celebrity friends he wants in ‘Murder Mystery 3’

Adam Sandler reveals the co-star of his dreams for a possible third installment of the 'Murder Mystery' franchise.

Adam Sandler reveals that he would be willing to star in a follow-up to Murder Mystery 2 if he gets to star opposite one of his favorite people in the world.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the actor shared he would gladly appear in another installment if he could star opposite his buddy Shaqille O’Neal.

“If Shaq’s in it, I’m in it. I love Shaq, and anytime he’s near me, I’m happier. Next one, wherever Shaq says.”

When pressed, Sandler admitted that he would return for a third film in the Netflix franchise if Shaq is unavailable, for the sole reason he enjoys shooting at glamorous international destinations.

“Me and Aniston have a great time and whoever wants to get murdered, hang out for six, seven weeks, eight weeks somewhere, it’s a good time.”

After reinvigorating their marriage by stumbling upon their talent for solving crimes in Murder Mystery, a lot has happened in the world of Nick and Audrey Spitz (Aniston). The follow-up sees the husband and wife as professional detectives with an agency of their own. The newly-minted private eyes land their first major case after someone kidnaps their billionaire pal Maharajah Vikram Govindan (Adeel Akhtar) at his wedding.

Filmed on location in France and Hawaii, Murder Mystery 2 boasts a stellar cast, including John Kani, Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Wilmer Valderrama, and Tony Goldwyn.

Fans hope to see Sandler and Aniston in a third Murder Mystery , and are also toying with the idea of the duo starring opposite Drew Barrymore in a remake of Three’s Company.

Murder Mystery 2 drops on Netflix on March 31.
