The new episode of The Mandalorian just dropped, and fans are already losing their minds. The latest chapter sees Din Djarin, Grogu, and Bo-Katan attempting to bring Axe Woves’ Mandalorian group into the fight to retake Mandalore, a journey that takes them to an impossibly opulent planet that’s a million miles away from the usual grimy Star Wars scenery.

Early in the episode Bo, Din, and Grogu are taken to a fancy party, and you won’t believe who’s running the show. It’s… Jack Black and… Lizzo?! Excuse me while my head explodes.

Please let this happen:

The Mandalorian is already no stranger to apparently unlikely Star Wars casting, with the likes of Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte, Richard Ayoade, John Leguizamo, and Michael Biehn (among others) surprising us by making an unexpected appearance in a galaxy far, far away.

But Jack Black? Lizzo?! We suspect cameos like these are going to divide the Star Wars fandom right down the middle. We’re loving it, but traditionalists are likely to have a bee in their bonnet. But, hey, we’re not going to argue with Lizzo showing up anywhere she damn well pleases.

After this, all bets are off. Let’s hope Lady Gaga is next, somehow.
