Donald Trump’s second deposition debuts hypocrisy 2.0 as he heads downtown to meet a ‘Racist’

We would say Trump crossed a line, but he has long bypassed it to a point where the line is a dot to him.

It is not that the newly indicted former president hasn’t been crafting the most nonsensical posts since the beginning of time, it’s just that ever since Donald Trump has been impeached, there has been an exponential increase in the levels of hypocrisy he can flaunt. And apparently, even that just upgraded itself, as Trump has once again indulged in blaming someone for what he personally excels in.

In case you missed the latest addition in Trump’s hectic schedule of scream-posting and earning the title of “narcissist egotistical loon,” he is headed for New York City yet again for his second deposition, which involves NYC Attorney General Letitia James’ $250 million civil fraud lawsuit. The allegations against the former president include committing financial fraud by misrepresenting the value of his assets like the Trump Tower, Trump Turnberry, Mar-a-Lago golf resort, Scotland golf course, and 40 Wall Street.

He arrived in Trump Tower on April 12 and since then, he has been busy posting how he will be appearing in front of “RACIST, TRUMP HATING Attorney General, Letitia “Peekaboo” James, in another unjust & ridiculous persecution.” While he faces some very major allegations and invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 400 times when he last sat in front of James, he claims he will finally show “what a great, profitable, and valuable company I built, actually, some of the greatest real estate assets anywhere in the world.”

James hasn’t released any statement on the deposition, but Trump has accused her of leaking that his appointment is scheduled to take place at 9:30am ET after calling her a “racist” yet again, just because she is overseeing the case against him.

Though James is yet to make a derogatory remark against the former president, Trump calling her (and also District Attorney Alvin Bragg) a “racist” reeks of hypocrisy given his own rather blatant history of racism, which goes back to the early 1970s. In 1972, the U.S. Department of Justice had to sue the Trump Management Corporation as evidence was found that Trump was not renting to Black tenants and even misinformed Black applicants about the availability of apartments. After his usual charade of loudly denying the accusations, he signed an agreement in 1975 to not discriminate against renters of color.

Such comments and actions, which become increasingly problematic, continued throughout the years, and becoming a presidential candidate and then the U.S. President did nothing to curb his passion for dipping his toes in regular racism. When he launched his campaign in 2015, he called Mexican immigrants “rapists” and blamed them for “bringing crime” and “bringing drugs” to America.

Then in 2016, in his poor attempt to win the support of black voters, his pitch went as follows: “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58 percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?”

Fast-forward to 2019 — after wading through a sea of even more controversial comments — Trump tweeted members of Congress like Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), etc., are “from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe” and they should “go back.”

These examples barely skim the surface of all the bigoted thoughts that rattle around in Trump’s unhinged thought train, but you get the picture.
