Latest Marvel News: Jonathan Majors isn’t the only key Phase Five star fans want fired as the entire ‘Quantumania’ cast courts cancellation

Meanwhile, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' marks a foul-mouthed MCU first.

As Marvel Studios maintains its radio silence on everything to do with Jonathan Majors (including the fact that he even appears in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), MCU fans bursting for action are instead turning their ire towards another all-important star of the franchise’s Multiverse Saga after their perhaps ill-advised response to a separate controversy. Speaking of shocking words, Star-Lord needs to wash his mouth out after making a surprisingly dirty-mouthed Marvel first.

Beef‘s David Choe has been at the center of his own internet storm of late, concerning a troubling resurfaced alleged sexual assault admission. In an unexpected move, his co-stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong have now spoken out in his defense, which unfortunately isn’t doing Yeun any favors with MCU fans. The Oscar-nominated actor is due to appear in Thunderbolts, likely as Sentry, who just might play a significant part in the MCU’s future. Unfortunately, people are so offended by his comments on the Choe controversy that they’re now calling for him to be removed from the project altogether.

Staying silent is apparently just as bad as saying the wrong thing as Marvel fans, out for blood, turn against Paul Rudd and co.

Moreover, in the wake of Yeun’s own response to the Choe situation, the internet is also having a pop at the cast of Quantumania for doing the exact opposite from him. Much like Marvel Studios itself, none of Majors’ colleagues on the recent threequel have made any kind of public comment on his domestic assault charge and the subsequent allegations against him, and apparently, that’s as condemning as coming to his defense, according to those who are threatening to right off the entire cast as a bad-lot. Until any other MCU stars do say something, fans will be watching their social media activity like hawk(eye)s.

James Gunn rips up the rulebook before he leaves by dropping the MCU’s first F-bomb in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Trust James Gunn to shock us all by marking a foul-mouthed first for the MCU just before he hops over to the Distinguished Competition. In the latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 clip to debut online ahead of the cosmic caper’s theatrical release in just a couple of weeks, Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill earns himself the honor of being the one to drop the MCU’s very first F-bomb. While 12A-certificated movies are allowed one use of the f-word, Marvel has never gone in for that before now, but if anyone was going to bend that rule it was always going to be Gunn.

Stay tuned as the latest updates from the Marvel multiverse, like the revelation that Iron Man is the ultimate winner of Captain America: Civil War, are dropping like curses out of Star-Lord’s mouth all the time.
