Jamie Foxx’s team shoot down malicious rumors blaming COVID vaccines for his health issues

The nature of Foxx's condition has been subject of major speculation.

A representative for Jamie Foxx has denied allegations that the actor’s recent health issues, which remain vague and private, have anything to do with the COVID vaccine.

The rumors were started by gossip columnist A. J. Benza, who claimed to have heard from someone “in the room” that Foxx’s condition was provoked by a blood clot in the brain, resulting from COVID vaccination. Speaking to Dr. Drew Pinsky on his online show, Benza alleged Foxx was coerced into getting the shot by the production team on the movie he was filming before falling ill. “The blood clot in the brain caused him, at that point, to be partially paralyzed and blind,” he claimed.

Foxx’s team, who have since released a statement to ET, say Benza’s report is “completely inaccurate.” This is not the first time his inner circle has had to deny rumors about his current state. Just last month, the actor’s daughter Corinne disputed claims the family was preparing for the worst, saying her father had been “out of the hospital for weeks” and was “recuperating.”

Celebrity illnesses and deaths have always been used as fodder by conspiracy theorists for a number of reasons. Not only does the public nature of their lives allow for a wider reach of these theories, but conspirators also seem convinced the elites know something the rest of us don’t. The latest trend is to link the deaths of stars to the COVID vaccine, in which most if not all claims are baseless.

Foxx, who, according to TMZ, is now attending a rehab facility, entered the hospital on April 11 following an unspecified “medical complication” that took place while he was filming Back in Action.
