It’s certainly hard to deny how much of a big-time player Ryan Reynolds is in the UK right now. After purchasing Wrexham A.F.C. back in 2019 and even securing the ever-popular sports docuseries Welcome to Wrexham, the Deadpool star has now snapped an unexpected photo on one of his many pit stops across the pond — and that would be with two of the biggest names in the baking scene in the UK.
Over on his official Twitter account, Reynolds shared an exclusive photo with Great British Bake Off hosts Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. And with the television baking series being one of the most popular commodities in the UK, it hardly comes as a major surprise that Reynolds’ surprising selfie has fueled plenty of speculation as to whether or not the 46-year-old actor has found his next venture.
If the snapshot is anything to go on, then it’s entirely possible that Reynolds could be gearing up to appear in a special episode of Celebrity Bake Off if his schedule calls for it. Of course, it’s undoubtedly tough work co-owning an entire football club, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that Reynolds can’t squeeze in some time to bake a lemon meringue pie before an entire nation.
Then again, Reynolds snapping a photo with two of the most popular hosts in the UK could be chalked up to nothing but good fun — which would sadly mean that Reynolds won’t be participating in a future episode. We’ll simply have to keep our eyes extra peeled — especially if he ever decides to bring Hugh Jackman along with him.
