‘A Ken really should find you’: Margot Robbie imparts some pearls of wisdom to her fellow Barbies

Listen up, ladies. Robbie knows what she's talking about.

Margot Robbie is a gift that just keeps on giving. Stunning on every red carpet she sets her foot on with her iconic Barbie outfits, the actress has been making the most out of this movie’s press tour. But exuding Barbie energy goes way beyond fashion, and fortunately, Robbie has the wisdom to back it up.

Interviewed by Amelia Dimoldenberg on Wednesday at the Barbie London premiere, the actress was asked for advice on how to find a Ken. What this translates to, is finding a man wholly devoted to you, and Robbie knew just what to tell all other Barbies out there looking:

“I mean, a Ken really should find you. It’s… that’s kind of key. Key that the Ken is there looking for you and supporting you. (…) You be you to your full self and Ken will find you.”

You heard it, ladies. According to the live-action Barbie herself, the path to happiness is to let the right Ken come to you. And he will, when the moment is right. So, it looks like it’s time to put away the binoculars and start focusing on ourselves.

If only all men possessed the Ken-ergy Ryan Gosling does, dating would be much simpler. Much like Robbie, the actor has been taking his role in the film very seriously, putting all of the character’s energy into this press tour. As for Margot Robbie, she may not have grown up playing with Barbie dolls, but she definitely has got the spirit of the thing down.

Barbie will be available in theaters starting July 21.
