Lohan was quite creative in announcing her engagement. The Mean Girls star took to Instagram in March and shared a photo of a baby onesie captioning the picture by writing, “Coming soon…” adding that they were both “blessed and excited” about the news. The happy new parents named their bundle of joy Luai, which in Arabic means, ‘shield or protector.’

Lohan kept her fans updated about her feelings about the long and challenging journey on her way to motherhood. She opened up to Allure about her longing to be a mother as well as how she felt elated by the prospect of receiving support and encouragement from her celebrity cohorts, one of whom is Jamie Lee Curtis:

Isabelle, her niece, just runs to her when she sees her. She’s been trying and then it happened, that little stick came up positive. It’s the right time for her and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they’re just so happy. They’re just really happy and ready.”
