First Paranormal Activity 4 Trailer Released

At this stage, I think we've all made up our minds as to whether we'll be heading to theatres this October to catch Paranormal Activity 4, am I right? This is a series that you either love or you hate and unfortunately, I'm in the latter camp. I've seen all three films but for some reason, I just can't get into them. I don't find them at all scary and in fact, I think they're rather lame and boring. To be brutally honest, I think that this is a series that needs to die.

At this stage, I think we’ve all made up our minds as to whether we’ll be heading to theatres this October to catch Paranormal Activity 4, am I right? This is a series that you either love or you hate and unfortunately, I’m in the latter camp.

I’ve seen all three films but for some reason, I just can’t get into them. I don’t find them at all scary and in fact, I think they’re rather lame and boring. To be brutally honest, I think that this is a series that needs to die.

But, apparently I’m in the minority as with each new release, Paramount makes more and more money. These films are cheap to make and they don’t take long to shoot, which is why I suspect that this fourth entry will be far from the end of the series.

From the looks of it, Paranormal Activity 4 will likely continue the trend of low-budget/high-profit as Paranormal Activity 3 helmers Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are back behind the camera to pick off where part two left off (part three was just a prequel).

The trailer hints at a few plot points that will likely satisfy the appetites of fans but truthfully, I just can’t get excited for this one. Plus, I absolutely hate Joost and Schulman, their breakout film Catfish is absolute garbage.

Like I said above, this trailer shouldn’t change your mind on whether you’ll be seeing the film or not. Though, if for some reason you’re still unconvinced, check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.

Paranormal Activity 4 opens in theatres on October 19th, 2012.
