Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, the latest entry in Insomniac Games' popular series, is still currently scheduled for a fall release in the form of a downloadable title on the PlayStation Network. Now, the first trailer for the game has been released, and gives players a taste of what to expect.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, the latest entry in Insomniac Games’ popular series, is still currently scheduled for a fall release in the form of a downloadable title on the PlayStation Network. Now, the first trailer for the game has been released, and gives players a taste of what to expect.

The storyline details mentioned in the trailer reveal that part of the plot will revolve around an attack on an intergalactic defense network – one which series regular Captain Qwark is involved in somehow.

The villain is mentioned as being “A familiar face from Ratchet & Clank’s past”, and various new environments, enemies, and gameplay clips are shown, including a playable Qwark and the return of Clank’s Giant form.

Additionally, it was announced that the game will be part of Sony’s Cross Buy service, meaning that those who purchase the game on the PS3 will also get a free copy for the Vita.
