It seems like we've been getting several of these teaser trailers for Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming film, The Master. Today, we have yet another of these small glimpses of the film featuring some old footage from previous trailers, but a lot of new footage as well.

In case you haven’t been following the film, the synopsis reads as follows:

A 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as “the Master” whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man.

The film has already received rave reviews from those who were lucky enough to see it at a secret preview screening in Santa Monica, with several audience members giving a lot of praise to Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix’s performances.

As you probably already know by now, the film will be making its official premiere at the Toronto and Venice Film Festivals next month, which is when we’ll get more of a consensus as to just how good it really is.

As for the rest of us, we’ll finally get to see it when it hits limited theaters on September 14th, followed by an expansion on the 21st.

Check out the teaser below and let us know what you think in the comments.
