Today, thanks to Comic Book Movie, we have another still from the upcoming film, this time featuring both Chris Pine as Jack Ryan and Kevin Costner as William Harper, “a legendary CIA field agent.” Again, it’s not much to look at, but the production has only recently begun, so it could be some time before we see anything more exciting than this.

Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before we get some shots of Keira Knightley and Kenneth Branagh in character, the latter of which I’m really looking forward seeing as he’ll be returning to a villainous role.

For those wondering what the film is about, here’s a synopsis:

The story centers on ex-Marine and Moscow-based financial analyst Jack Ryan (Chris Pine), who uncovers a plot by his employer, Viktor Stazov (Kenneth Branagh) a Russian financial genius, to finance a terrorist attack designed to collapse the U.S. economy. Ryan must race against time to save America and his love interest (Keira Knightley).

Jack Ryan, which Branagh is also directing, hits theaters Christmas Day 2013.
