Just a couple of days ago, we brought you the first official image from the upcoming remake of Sam Raimi’s horror classic, The Evil Dead, which showed a classic image recognizable from the original film. The same article also included a full description of footage shown from the film at the New York Comic Con, which will no doubt be seen in HD quality sometime soon.

But why wait for that? Today, we have a bootleg of the trailer that was shown to the fans attending the panel. It’s not the greatest quality, but it’s quite watchable until we get something better.

At this point, I should probably warn you, the trailer is not for those with a weak stomach as the amount of gore contained within is exceptional. That being said, I think it looks incredible.

A large part of the original films was the excessive gore, and now it’s looking like that same path was followed for this remake, except with a less comical effect.

But enough from me. I’ll let the footage speak for itself.

The Evil Dead remake hits theaters on April 12th, 2013.

Check out the trailer below before it gets pulled.
