‘I’m already pre-disgusted’: Kelly Ripa reveals husband’s ‘repulsive’ desires in the bedroom

Kelly Ripa recently talked about her sex life with her husband, Mark Consuelos, joking about how much she dislikes his preference for morning intimacy. During an appearance on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the 54-year-old Live with Kelly and Mark host said she thinks morning sex is “disgusting,” which is the complete opposite of Consuelos, also 54, who only wants it “in the morning.”

The wealthy Kelly Ripa joked that Consuelos “will never change” and mentioned that their 29-year marriage works because they balance each other out, explaining that her own preference is “at night only.” She also said she finds morning kisses unappealing because of her retainer and his nasal strips, calling them “the most gross, disgusting” things.

Even though she made these funny complaints, Ripa made it clear they don’t actually have sex every morning, especially now that they work together as a power couple on their early morning show. As reported by Page Six, She even joked, “May this show keep going until he can’t get it up anymore,” and teased about why he hasn’t had any issues with impotence in his mid-50s.

However, Ripa did share their secret to keeping their sex life strong after almost 30 years together: “It’s like working out. The more you do it, the more you want to do it. You just have to make yourself do it, and then you remember, ‘Oh yeah! This is why I like this.’” She pointed out how easy it is to ignore intimacy when you’re busy raising kids and working full-time.

The couple met on the set of All My Children in 1995 and got married in 1996. They have three kids: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22. Ripa has said before that the “best part of being empty-nesters” is being able to walk around naked and be intimate whenever they want, calling themselves a “total weirdo couple all the time.”

But Ripa said that men “don’t care” and that the “d–k has a brain of its own… I’m already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.” It isn’t the strangest thing to want that kind of passion in the morning, but Ripa is open to trying things she’s not comfortable with. Based on her description, Ripa will have a long and healthy marriage with her husband.
