Puppet or president?: Donald Trump confirms he is not considered a leader by his own people

On the same day that FBI Director Kash Patel announced he found “burn bags” in a “secret room” containing thousands of documents tied to the 2016 Russian election interference investigation, President Trump appeared unaware of the situation when a reporter asked him about Patel’s findings.

Speaking at the White House, a reporter asked Trump about the burn bags, and he seemed not to hear or understand what she said: “I don’t know what you mean.” She then began to say, “Bags full of …” before Trump interjected, “Oh, I thought you said appointed a man named Burn Bag,” to a smattering of laughter from the crowd.

Most concerningly, though, if Patel did find the documents, it appears he hadn’t yet told the president. As one comment noted, “Sounds like K$sh didn’t exactly rush to report these ‘findings’ to the White House. Trump had no idea what the hell the reporter was talking about which is OK because nobody has any idea what the hell K$sh is talking about.”

Another comment added, “Mr. Burn Bag is Trump’s nickname because he’s always eating, flushing, and burning incriminating papers in the fireplace.”

What’s in these supposed “burn bags?”

News that Director Patel found the supposed “burn bags” came as the Trump administration threatens to prosecute and even jail Obama-era officials who, in Trump’s view, conspired to make it appear that Russia helped Trump win the 2016 election.

A source told Daily Mail that the bags were turned over to Republican Senator Chuck Grassley, of Iowa, the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and the contents could be released in the coming days. Reportedly, “burn bags” are commonly used to dispose of classified documents, and the source said the “burn bags” were likely left behind in an oversight.

However, referring to Patel’s supposed discovery, an anonymous source told Fox News Digital, “Ultimately, the release of the classified annex will lend more credibility to the assertion that there was a coordinated plan inside the U.S. government to help the Clinton campaign stir up controversy connecting Trump to Russia.”

Tulsi Gabbard’s Russia-gate report

Tulsi Gabbard’s DNI report claims that former President Obama and top intelligence officials fabricated the conclusion that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump. She argues the intelligence community relied on weak or politically biased sources, such as the Steele dossier, and misrepresented evidence to create a narrative aimed at delegitimizing Trump’s presidency.

Gabbard has referred Obama-era officials, including James Clapper and John Brennan, to the DOJ for investigation, calling their actions part of a “treasonous conspiracy.”

Critics from both parties and former intelligence officials say Gabbard’s report recycles debunked claims and lacks new evidence. Previous investigations, including the Mueller Report and a bipartisan Senate review, confirmed that Russia interfered to benefit Trump but found no vote tampering or collusion.

Experts argue Gabbard’s report misrepresents internal debates and ignores the broad, well-supported intelligence consensus about Russia’s actions. The real dispute now is over confidence in Putin’s intent, not whether interference occurred.
