‘Thank you for your service’: Woman poses with anti-abortion sign only to run away with it

Abortion is still the subject of many debates and unfortunately, in the U.S., the country seems to be going backwards in terms of the laws that allow women the right to access such medical procedures. Recently, people have hit back at the laws on social media such as TikTok.

The abortion argument has been raging for decades in the U.S. and the country as a whole is backsliding with anti-abortion individuals pressing to take away the right for women to choose what they do with their bodies. Protests against the medical procedure aren’t an entirely uncommon sight as the vocal individuals against the practice push for an outright ban across the country.

At an anti-abortion rally at KSU one woman would stand up to the group in the most hilarious way possible. Turns out trolling anti-abortionists is easy, all you have to do is pretend that you’re one of them. One woman was bold enough to infiltrate the ranks in order to steal one of their gross signs in a hilarious prank which has since gone viral on TikTok.

Our hero of the hour goes by the name Sara, and her viral video currently has over 11 million views and almost 3 million likes on the video sharing app. In the video, Sara poses with a big sign that reads, “Abortion is murder, forgiveness for murder can only be found in Jesus Christ alone.” She stands next to what we can assume is a genuine anti-abortion protester, she holds the sign and smiles for the camera, then, quick as a flash she picks up the big placard and makes off with it.

Sara is the hero we deserve

The prank worked so well because Sara was able to so convincingly play the part, one viewer even commented, “I thought I was in enemy territory for a second.” By the time she’d revealed her hand it was too late for the protester she was standing by to even do anything, she was already running into the sunset with their sign. Where she went next, nobody knows.

Her daring heist has impressed many-a-viewer on TikTok. “Thank you for your service queen,” wrote one person in the comments, “She’s literally doing the lords work,” added another, while a third chimed in, “not every hero wears a cape, some wear cardigans”

One viewer did warn Sara, writing, “Girl be careful you can actually be arrested for theft doing this.” The fact that she took such a risk in running away with that sign makes her act all the more heroic. Ultimately what she did was just another form of protest against a group who would rather put women’s lives at risk than allow them the freedom of choice. Sara truly is a woman of the people and it seems like many on TikTok agree.
