Miley Cyrus just threw some major shade at her mom, Tish Cyrus, for handing out what she called “terrible” dating advice. During a video chat with The Cut, Miley revealed that Tish used to push her to stay with the “wrong guys” simply because they were good-looking. Apparently, Tish’s advice was to focus on a guy being “friggin’ hot to look at,” even if he lacked a good personality or respect for her.

Now, to be fair, the conversation had a playful tone, but it’s not a secret that the Cyrus family has been through their share of messy love lives and family drama. She even stated that Tish never put “respect” in her top three dating requirements. However, Miley is now happy with her current boyfriend, drummer Maxx Morando, who she says respects her and means the world to her.
